Software Building Blocks: 2025 Software Inspirations Program (VOLUME 2)

2025 SCHEDULE:

• LETTERING, February 15,  2025: The 2025 session will begin with the basic building block of lettering. In Creator level, we will explore different ways to create Knock Down lettering. In DesignerPlus level, we will learn to create a personalized key fob using Artwork Canvas and explore other creative techniques with lettering.

• CREATIVE PHOTOS, April 15, 2025: In Creator level, you will create a raw edge quilted design from a photo. In DesignerPlus, you will use the Quilter program to create a pixel quilt from a photo. 

• EDITING, June 15, 2025: What’s all the fuss about formats? Why the format you choose makes a difference in your editing results. 

• DIGITIZING, August 15,  2025: In Creator level, you will learn how to create an edge-to-edge quilting design using the digitizing tools. In DesignerPlus, you will use Artwork Canvas to create quilting block designs.

•CREATIVE TOOLS, October 15, 2025: In Creator level, you will learn how to create designs for use with the Needle punch accessory and Couching Foot # 43. In DesignerPlus, you will create designs for these accessories to embroider.  

•SETTINGS, December 31,  2025: This lesson will cover the things we rarely talk about. Let’s learn about underlay, pull compensation, jump stitches, starts and stops, and settings for creating designs for different fabrics. 

In addition to the BERNINA content, Gayle will be walking your through the steps to create a sophisticated software project and giving you all of the tips necessary to create a beautiful stitch out.

She will let you know what, why and when in the BERNINA of Naperville additional video content.

Each month’s lesson will dive into a new feature of the BERNINA Designer PLUS and Creator (when applicable) software and show you how to use that tool to the max. Supporting new and existing software users alike, These lessons are sure to open up a new world of embroidery possibilities with the help of our latest software, Version 9.
