Virtual Class: Incredible Bag Workshop: Ode to Valentina
If you have paid attention to the new BERNINA Expert, Valentina Bukeeva, you may have your eye on her incredible quilted bags. Tackling one of your own may seem a bit daunting, so we have a series of sessions that may help you reach your aspirations. |
Session 1: Sewing Effects This class is dedicated to using twin needles, working with decorative stitches to achieve perfect zipper insertion and making piping all while handing bulky bits. Our expert tips will give you the confidence to make a small checkbook cover or glasses case. |
Session 2: Embroidery Elements
This class is dedicated to using a combination of Embroidery designs and your own free motion quilting to create a small pillow top from non vinyl materials such as quilting cotton. |
Session 3: Software Use the BERNINA Embroidery software to create a continuous pattern that incorporates vector artwork. Your digitizing will involve stipple fill applications to use as the "grout." Your end result is perfect for a byAnnie Clam Up bag. |
